Web Design & Development

Many failures happen because of attempts to re-invent the wheel.  This also applies to web development. Both the client and the developer tend to put something of their own personality into the website where it shouldn’t be.  While aiming to create a unique website they forget that it is a business tool and not a test ground for expression of the designer’s ambitions, which are often in contradiction with eachother, as well as with the intetests of  the prospective client. The business of each company is unique, and so should be the site in this sense.  The website is a reflection of the business, not of the human factor.

The reason why most of the websites that are too “industrious” look so alike and are not fit for business is because all “different” websites are made using the same method, and vice versa. There is one way to all unique websites; others are abstract sites that all look similar. But your business is unique, or at least very specific. This is why we use the same method for all our unique sites.

The first step is to spot the content that is needed to turn a visitor into a customer, and to separate it from other content that is useless in this context. The flaw of many websites is that they contain too much information that slows or prevents sales.

The next step is to structure the website. The detailed information may not exist yet, but all chapters, categories and subcategories must be plotted in advance. And the same goes for the functionality. The website must be thoroughly planned. It must be designed from top to bottom, built from bottom to top, and not the other way around. Attempts to create a generic site and then try to fit it the content are bound to fail. The design should be dependent on the structure.

This is the only way, and it’s principal. We create a structured plan and confirm it with the client. This way,  you know precisely what you are going to get, and we are conscious of what exactly we have to do – and all that from the start.

Then, it is time to write the content. And it shouldn’t be just some text, but information, that is able to form the visitors decision. This demands professionals with years of experience, and should be handled very seriously.

The mentioned method of web evelopment does not only guarantee a positive result, but also enables you to achieve it in very short terms – usually around 3-4 weeks. The secret to success is understanding that the website is an informational product and that logic plays the main role here.  It’s the content that makes a site specific. Simply a design cannot become a site.
